How To Clean Bissell Cleanview Vacuum Filter
The Removable Filter Compartment is Stuck on My Bissell Cleanview Vacuum
half dozen Mar
So I couldn't find the answer to troubleshoot this problem anywhere on the spider web – and now that I figured it out I'grand going to post the answer…
I have a 1243 Serial Bissell Cleanview Vacuum – purchased in near 2022 (love information technology!!!) – that has Three filters (yep – always read the destructions – today I plant out there'southward a Post-Motor Filter under the bigass middle filter part that was Absolutely FILLED with microscopic blackness clay – I tapped it into the bathroom sink and got a ton of impacted dust out – they say to supplant it every 6 months…)
Only I was having trouble opening the hatch for the top filter – a niggling yellowish sponge that you can wash and put back. Very nice every bit long as you tin can become to it! I struggled for 15 minutes to no avail.
Their video says to printing at the bottom of the handle to open it:
Merely that didn't work. Finally – after whacking the butt end of a well-placed flathead screwdriver with a hammer – I got information technology open up. Seems that when it'south new it opens beautifully – simply get a lot of dust in information technology and it sticks. Especially if you try to printing at the very lesser of the handle. Simply try pressing it nearly 1/4″ college…
As usual: this post has absolutely no literary value whatever – and the graphics suck… but next time I google it I'll find the answer!!!
Muahaha
:)
